Beyond Empty Nest
💜You did the mom thing—and you did it well.
Now the house is quieter, the roles have shifted, and you're asking: What’s next for me?
Welcome to Beyond Empty Nest, the podcast for midlife women who are ready to dare more, doubt less, and live fully.
I’m Jodi Silverman—speaker, mindset coach, and your personal cheerleader for this next chapter of life. Every Thursday, you’ll hear real stories of reinvention, heartfelt solo episodes, and conversations that spark courage, confidence, and connection.
We talk midlife pivots, purpose, self-talk, happiness (yes, it’s possible!), and all the messy magic in between—sprinkled with a little woo and a lot of heart.
If you're craving more you in your life, this is your space.
🎧So grab your earbuds and let’s make Thursdays your favorite day of the week.
Dare On, my friend.💜

Embrace Change: It's Never Too Late to Transform Your Life
Change can be daunting. It brings about uncertainty, fear, and often pushes us out of our comfort zones. But here's the thing….change is inevitable, especially as we navigate the landscape of midlife. And while it may seem scary, it's also the key to unlocking our next chapter, a chapter that can be filled with hope.
Dive into the transformative power of embracing change in midlife with today’s guest, Patti Diener. She is an author, an entrepreneur, and a seeker of the best life possible. Taking early retirement at age 53, Patty made the choice to live a more fulfilled life rather than the status quo that was expected of her.
She created a place for midlife people to connect and feel seen with her podcast and her community called Beautiful Second Act. Now, after almost three years, she's made another shift, another change, listening to her true calling. Patti writes full time and is opening up to new adventures in the writing community.
❤️Your Dare for this week: Ask yourself this burning question, “Am I brave enough to disappoint others in order to stop disappointing myself? Am I brave enough to stop?” Asking yourself this burning question is where CHANGE happens!
Jodi adds a double dare to sit with these questions and answers and let them flow!
